In 2006, BCDUSC founders got together in an effort to support modern under saddle uses for the many versatile draft horse breeds. It didn't take long to find other like-minded draft horse owners and riders, and the BC Draft Under Saddle Club was born! Since that time, the club has evolved to offer a unique & inclusive Points Program that allows riders to collect points at ANY horse show, parade, or clinic they participate in - leading to eligibility for our Year-End High Point Award!
We also offer numerous demonstrations open to members for participation throughout the year, specialized events (such as clinics), horse shows, and much more! Additionally, the BCDUSC has become a province-wide network of draft enthousiasts, helping each other to access all things uniquely "draft" - such as draft sized tack and tips for showing drafts under saddle.
